Wurry (26) was diagnosed with renal failure (Acute kidney failure) after she went under emergency surgery due to pregnancy complications. As a result she lost her unborn baby. She needs urgent treatment which cannot be provided in the Gambian health care system. Meanwhile she regularly attends dialysis 3 times a week at Edward Francis Teaching Hospital (Banjul). Her mother is willing to be a donor.
She was married in Darsilameh just after Brikama but as a result of her deteriorating condition her husband abandoned her. She has been struggling for two years, living on small handouts and her family is facing severe financial constraints.
Please help save a life by donating towards the cost of her daily struggles and ultimately to fund her overseas treatment.
